In seventh grade Gail taught me the poem, “Spring has sprung, the grass has rize. I wonder where the birdy is? Some say the bird is on the wing but that’s absurd. As anyone can plainly see the wind is on the bird!” Sixty years later my middle daughter told me the exact same poem because she read it on the Internet. What comes around goes around. So long Gail, I miss you.
